 The Bealty Pageant

It began with 16 women chosen to be part of "The Swan" program and undergo a full-life makeover. This included plastic surgery with procedures such as breast augmentation, liposuction, facelift, rhinoplasty, and others. These cosmetic plastic surgery procedures were performed by plastic surgeons Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Randal Haworth. Reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry was performed by Dr. Sherri Worth and provided dental services including Veneers and Teeth Whitening. Contestants also had to get into shape with the help of fitness trainer Greg Comeaux. They also received weekly therapy from therapist Dr. Lynn Ianni and coaching from Life Coach and creator of "The Swan" Nely Galan.

Each week, two women underwent a full-life makeover and transformed from an ugly duckling into a "Swan." However, out of the two women, one would be chosen to move onto the beauty pageant, where cash and prizes awaited. Out of the original sixteen women, nine women were chosen, including a wild card candidate, and now it was time to see who would be named "The Swan."

The judges for the beauty pageant included Susie Castillo, Miss USA 2003; Valerie Trott, Champagne Trott Model Management; Judith Regan, publisher, Regan Books; Tara Kraft, Beauty Director, Star Magazine; and Mike Ruiz, Fashion Photographer. Each contestant would be scored on a series of events.

The first was the evening gown portion, followed by the bathing suit competition. Rachel and Beth received the highest scores. Six out of the nine contestants were selected to be semi-finalists; they were Cindy, Beth, Rachel, Marnie, Serena and Kelly (the show s wildcard contestant).

Next was the photo shoot and lingerie competition, and afterwards three more women were chosen to be finalists for "The Swan." The three women were Rachel, Beth and Cindy. Finally, like most beauty pageants, the finalists were asked why they feel they should be chosen for the crown. After they gave their answers, it was time to reveal who would be crowned "The Swan."

The second runner up went to Cindy, the first runner up was Beth, which mean that Rachel was the one chosen to be crowned "The Swan." Cash and other prizes were in store for Rachel, including a week in Hawaii, a weekend in Vegas, a modeling contract, a 2004 Jaguar, $50,000 in cash and many more other prizes. The show s creator and life coach Nely Galan was the person who crowned Rachel with the honor of "The Swan."

The show will be back next season to give another lucky individual a chance to undergo a full-life makeover and have the possibility of becoming "The Swan."
