On tonight's episode of Extreme Makeover™ the television series, an aging rocker will be updated for the 21st century. The other story involves a woman, once ridiculed in high school, now wants to turn some heads at her 20-year reunion.

Marque used to be a rocker in the 70's and still has long, blond hair and still dresses the part, but now wants to get into the 21st century. Plus at 48 years old, his looks are fading; with a broken tooth, receding hairline, and a "spare tire." Marque is also a single dad, and fatherhood and dating have not mixed well, especially with his fading looks. One night a comedy club, the comedian begins to "roast" Marque, but then tells him that he has been selected to be on Extreme Makeover™ the television series. Before leaving, Marque has one last goodbye to his son, because the two will not see each other for the next six weeks.

Extreme Team style expert, Sam Saboura, comes by to pick up Marque. The two drive down Sunset Blvd., memory lane for Marque. Then they reach their destination, the Makeover Mansion.

Marque then meets with plastic surgeon Dr. Harvey Zarem. By having Marque lie back, Dr. Zarem gives him an instant preview of what he will look like after a facelift. Marque feels that this will work out fine. The following day is surgery for Marque.

Marque receives the following procedures:

• Liposuction of the back, chin and stomach
• Upper and lower eyelid lift
• Facelift and Necklift

In a separate procedure, Marque receives LASIK eye correction from Dr. Robert Maloney.

After surgery, Marque felt like he has gone through a horrible nightmare. But a week later, it was time to take some of the dressings off. The chin looks great and the jowls are gone. Marque is really happy with the results.

Next was a hair transplant. Marque was experiencing only frontal balding, but within six to eight months following the procedure, he will have hair that will grow and can be styled. After that, Marque then met with Dr. Bill Dorfman, who reconstructed his entire smile.

Candidates for Extreme Makeover™ the television series are separated from their friends and family for six weeks, sometimes longer. The same goes for those who live in and around the Los Angeles area. However the rules were broken as Sam secretly snuck in Marque's son so that the two can spend the afternoon at the Makeover Mansion. However Marque still has some work to do and has to say goodbye to his son again.

The next procedure involved Fotofacial treatments and a sonic facial, a first on Extreme Makeover™ the television series. The sonic facial involves relaxing the body, while the face is given a workout. Through these treatments, years of aging are erased in minutes.
Finally Sam Saboura takes Marque shopping for a new wardrobe. Hair stylists then provide the finishing touches, including cutting off the long, blond hair and styling it to short, brown hair.
At the night of the reveal, Sam makes the introduction as Marque reveals his new look to his band, friends, family and his son. For Marque, seeing the smile on his son's face made it all perfect.

Elisa is 37 years old and a graduate from Beverly Hills high school. Being teased at school brings bad memories for her. Her father even called her "pretty ugly." After graduation, Elisa became an event planner and has overcome a lot, except for her image. She hates her nose and feels she is young for her body to sag. She is so self-conscious about her appearance from the waist down. Elisa wants a makeover so that she can walk into her reunion and feel beautiful.

Elisa makes a trip to the Makeover Mansion thinking she will be interviewing the show's producers. Instead when Elisa opens the door, the entire Extreme Team is there to tell her she will be receiving a makeover.

The first person Elisa meets is plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher. They first talk about changing the nose. Dr. Fisher wants to remove the hump, thin out the tip and make the nose a little smaller. They also discuss a tummy tuck to remove excess skin from the stomach, a topic that makes Elisa a little emotional. This is something she has wanted her whole life. Elisa is so excited and anxious to have her surgery done, but the next day, before going into surgery, she is feeling a little bit emotional. But she proceeds with the surgery.

Surgery included:

• Browlift
• Crow's feet release
• Upper eyelid lift
• Rhinoplasty (nose surgery)
• Breast lift
• Liposuction of the chin, hips, knees and thighs
• Tummy tuck

After the surgery, Elisa was not prepared for the pain and was a bit more swollen than most patients. But a week later, she couldn't believe the appearance of her nose, her eyes, and that her "pooch" has vanished.

The next set of procedures involved Thermage treatments from dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban. Thermage is used to tighten up the skin of the arms and thighs so it does not hang. Dr. Robert Maloney then performs LASIK eye surgery and Dr. Dorfman creates a dazzling smile for Elisa. Fitness expert Michael Thurmond sculpts the body and Sam Saboura provides Elisa with some style. Hair and makeup provide the final touches. Elisa is in tears when she sees the final results.

Before the big reveal, the entire Extreme Team came by the Makeover Mansion once again to say goodbye to Elisa. The night of the reveal, Elisa feels amazing. She was reunited with her friends and had a blast. The whole experience has given her a new sense of self.

Mini Makeover:

For this segment, Sam Saboura tells twin sisters Teresa and Christina, from Samoa, that they will be receiving a mini-makeover. A day of beauty treatment begins with LASIK eye surgery for Teresa. Then takes the sisters to get their hair done and provides them with fashion tips.

Teresa and Christina then revealed their double mini-makeovers to their large family, a family of 15 people living under one roof. The two sisters enjoyed the journey, but the journey was not over because Sam presented the family with 15 round trip tickets to Samoa for the entire family.

On the season premiere, Damen was given a mini-makeover, along with acting classes and a walk-on role on the soap opera "General Hospital." At the studio, Damen was running late for his stage call. Even though he spent timing rehearsing, he suddenly forgot his lines. However, before it was time for him to appear on stage, he remembered the lines. This experience was fun, exciting and life-changing for Damen.
