Tonight's episode of Extreme Makeover™ the television series features an aspiring rap star, looking to repair his cleft palate, while a housewife looks to break out of her shell.

Jeff is a 24 year old, recent college graduate and aspiring rap star from Florida. He was born with a cleft palate, a condition where the mouth does not fully form. This was not a condition he suffered alone, as Jeff is part of a large, loving family. Jeff is the youngest of eight children. Their mother had to raise them alone, after their father left. They were living homeless for awhile. Then, Jeff's mother Carol got work as a nurse. A gifted composer and poet, Jeff wishes he could sing the songs inside him. But his cleft palate affects the way he talks and signs. At the recording studio where Jeff raps, his producer tells him that he is going to be on the Extreme Makeover™ television series.

In LA, a limousine is waiting to pick Jeff up, inside the limo is his brother Eddie, who lives in LA. Eddie is eight years older than Jeff and has always looked over him. The makeover begins with a visit to plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Griffin. Dr. Griffin sees the scar tissue in Jeff's lip due to all the surgery. Jeff's lip and nose will be difficult for Dr. Griffin to work with. Dr. Griffin will have to work closely with Dr. Dorfman to develop a plan that will be the most beneficial for Jeff. This will be the most challenging cleft palate reconstruction of Dr. Griffin's career.

After receiving so many surgeries to correct the cleft palate, Dr. Griffin is not sure how Jeffery's surgery will turn out. During the surgery, Dr. Griffin lengthens the lip and Dr. Craig Ziering performs a hair transplant on Jeff's upper lip. The surgery goes well and Dr. Griffin thinks this will be the last one for Jeff.

David Coury, speech therapist to the stars, helps Jeff take care of his lisp. Since he has lived with his cleft palate for so long, it has affected the way Jeff speaks. David will now teach Jeff how to talk properly after his reconstructive surgery. For Jeff, it is hard being away from his family, but a video they send helps him get through it.

Eight weeks after Jeff's first visit with cosmetic dentist Dr. Dorfman it was now time to fix the teeth. Dr. Dorfman thinks the work Dr. Griffin did was perfect and that the lip is exactly where he wants it to be. Dr. Dorfman does not have to take out Jeff's front teeth, which made Jeff happy. A few hours later, Jeff takes a look in the mirror and sees a great smile. Dr. Dorfman thinks that Jeff is already talking better after the dental work.

It was now time for Extreme Team style expert Sam Saboura to give Jeff some style tips. P. Diddy provided some Sean John clothes for Jeff to try out, and would provide a new wardrobe and a suit for the reveal. For the final touches, hairstylist Shirlena Allen cut away Jeff's dreadlocks, and provides some new energy for Jeff. After a quick shave, Jeff got a chance to see his final results.

It has been a long hard road for Jeff, and his family can't wait to see him. Everyone was so emotional in the room when Jeff revealed his makeover to everyone. Jeff's brother Eddie came from LA for the event, and the fact that his brother's cleft palate was gone was overwhelming for Eddie. Then, Jeff recited a poem he wrote for his mom. Repairing Jeff's cleft palate was a great moment for this close, loving family.

Angie is 33 years old, from Cincinnati, OH. She is a homemaker who stays at home because she finds that is her comfort zone. All her life, she has been tormented for her looks. Angie was a shy girl during school. What bother Angie are her teeth, chin and nose. She would also like to have bigger breasts. Then, during a trip to the mall, as her kids go and meet Santa, Santa gives Angie a plane ticket and tells her that she is going to be a part of Extreme Makeover™ the television series.

In Los Angeles, Angie meets with plastic surgeon Dr. Jon Perlman. The doctor asks her what she would like to talk about, and Angie says she doesn't like that her chin is so small, and feels her nose is so open. Dr. Perlman then shows that there is a downward tilt to the outer brow, which gives Angie a sad look and suggests doing a brow lift. For Angie's round cheeks, Dr. Perlman suggests a buccal fat removal. Angie's breasts are somewhat droopy to pregnancy and breasfeeding, and the doctor will perform a breast augmentation and lift.

During surgery, Dr. Perlman starts the makeover by reshaping the nose, then tightening the lower eyelids, and then performing a brow lift. Angie's cheeks are sculpted with fat injections and buccal fat pad removal. The breasts are lifted and enlarged. Liposuction and an implant provide Angie with a new chin. After six surgeries and a few hours, Angie's plastic surgery was complete.

A few days later, Angie gets a chance to see herself in the mirror. Her look is different, and now Angie likes looking at herself. She wanted to resemble her beautiful mother, and now she feels like she does. Angie gives Dr. Perlman a hug. As Angie recovers and continues with her makeover, she finds that her heart is aching being so far away from her family for so long. However, her family sends her a video to cheer her up.

Next for Angie's makeover, cosmetic dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman provided her with porcelain veneers. Angie has been wanting straight teeth for twenty years, and after three hours, she gets her wish. Dr. Robert Maloney performs LASIK eye surgery to improve eye sight. Being a stay at home mom, Angie became a huge fan of the soap opera "General Hospital." As part of her makeover, Angie goes to the set of "General Hospital" and gets a behind-the-scenes tour and talks to actress Natalia Livingston.

Fitness guru Michael Thurmond helps Angie gain a firmer body through workout sessions. Angie was able to lose 22 inches from her body. Sam Saboura provides Angie with some fashion tips, and then, hair and makeup provide the finishing touches.

Angie returned home six weeks after starting her makeover, and at her reveal, friends and family were there and genuinely happy for her. Angie's husband was so thrilled for her.
