Extreme Makeover™ the television series

This week’s episode features a young librarian and a self-proclaimed court jester looking to achieve a better appearance by participating in Extreme Makeover ™ the television series.

Amanda:

Amanda is a 24-year old librarian from Pueblo, Colorado. Her chubby cheeks are the reason why her friends and family have called her “Bubbs" her whole life. She is not happy with her looks and wants this opportunity to be on Extreme Makeover ™ the television series so that she can be the sexy librarian that causes others to come back to the library. Amanda got her wish when she found out she had been chosen for the makeover.

In Los Angeles, Amanda first meets with her plastic surgeon Dr. Brent Moelleken. The two discuss what Amanda wants worked on, including the cheeks.

Amanda s Plastic Surgery will include:

• Rhinoplasty
• Cheek lift
• Buccal fat removed
• Lower eyelid surgery
• Chin liposuction
• Chin implant
• Liposuction of the abdomen, flanks and thighs

After healing from the surgery, the other Extreme team members did their work. Amanda received LASIK eye surgery performed by Dr. Robert Maloney. Dr. Bill Dorfman performed Amanda s dental work, which included zoom whitening and dental bonding. To treat the acne on her face, Amanda visited Dr. Ava Shamban for Foto facial treatments. Sam Saboura provided style tips and brought Amanda to celebrity hair stylists and make up artists to put on the finishing touches.

Through the experience on Extreme Makeover ™ the television series, Amanda was transformed into that sexy librarian look she desired.

Patrick:

Patrick is 38 years old and from Kissee, Missouri. He works as a music DJ, Internet technician and cook. Patrick has the ability to attract others through his humorous personality, energy and self-confidence. He wants to have the chance to be on Extreme Makeover ™ television series, for his wife. Patrick gets his fairy tale wish of going from court jester to prince, when he found out he was selected for the show.

When Patrick arrived in Los Angeles, the first stop was a visit with plastic surgeon Dr. Brent Moelleken. Patrick told the doctor what he would like changed in his appearance and the doctor made his suggestions. Then came the day of surgery.

• Brow lift
• Cheek lift
• Rhinoplasty
• Buccal fat excision
• Chin implant
• Liposuction of the chest and flanks
• Facelift

Patrick also received hair transplant surgery performed by Dr. Craig Ziering. Dr. Robert Maloney performed LASIK eye surgery to correct Patrick s vision. Dr. Bill Dorfman performed dental work, which included Zoom whitening and DaVinci veneers.

Sam then provided style tips for Patrick, and after celebrity hair stylists and makeup artists performed their magic, it was time for Patrick to go home. Patrick came home and revealed his new look to his friends, family, and most especially, his wife.
