Unfortunately there is too much damage in the middle ear for any procedure to improve Cynthia s hearing. However a new breakthrough digital device can help. Cynthia would become the first person in the U.S. to receive this technology. After receiving this device, Cynthia was able to hear everything. As a treat, Cynthia received a special performance from the Los Angeles Philharmonic just for her. After paying a visit to cosmetic dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman for dental work, Cynthia then met with Dr. Robert Maloney to determine if Lasik eye surgery can be done to correct her vision. Dr. Maloney told Cynthia he would be able to correct her eyesight. After surgery complete, Cynthia was able to go from eyesight that was nearly fading, to eagle eye vision. Before going home, "extreme team" stylist Sam Saboura showed up to provide fashion tips and to help Cynthia get ready for her "reveal."
