This week s episode of Extreme Makeover the television series is truly an emotional one. Karen is a 44-year-old ER nurse from Wilson, AR. Karen will leave her fianc for six weeks to have her makeover performed and the two will not see each other until she walks down the aisle on their wedding day. Sandra is a 53-year-old assistant manager from Mesa, AZ. She recently became a widow after spending the last thirty years taking care of her disabled husband. Now she wants to reenter the dating scene. Extreme Makeover the television series is going give these two women the changes they are looking for to help them start their new lives.

On this episode of Extreme Makeover the television series, Dr. Jon A. Perlman, M.D., F.A.C.S. , will be joining the "extreme team" this week as the plastic surgeon for both Karen and Sandra. When the two women arrive to California, they meet with Dr. Perlman for a consultation regarding their plastic surgery. Afterwards, both parties have a good understanding on what procedures need to be performed on the day of surgery.
