Extreme Makeover the television series

On this premiere episode of Extreme Makeover the television series, we are introduced to Kine, a 29-year-old barber from Chicago and Tammy, a 40-year-old stay-at-home mother from St. Petersburg, FL. These two women were chosen out of thousands of applicants and now are given the chance to have their lives changed through Extreme Makeover the television series.

As part of their makeover, the two women will have to undergo several various procedures including a plastic surgery makeover. On this episode, their plastic surgeon will be Dr. Garth Fisher, M.D., F.A.C.S., who operates his practice out of Beverly Hills. After both women had a consultation with Dr. Fisher, the doctor and the women knew what was going to be needed for the plastic surgery portion of their makeover.

Kine:
Kine s plastic surgery makeover included:

Upper and lower lip reduction
Breast lift
Liposuction of the abdomen

Kine also received Lasik eye surgery from Dr. Robert Maloney. And she also received a dental makeover; including having her teeth whitened and straightened, courtesy of Dr. William Dorfman, D.D.S.

The final touches for Kine included getting in shape with the help of celebrity fitness trainer Michael George. Next was a style makeover with the help of celebrity fashion stylist Deda Coben. Then finally a new hairstyle, done by celebrity hair stylist Tracci Johnson, and makeup done by celebrity makeup artist Merc Arceneaux completed Kine s makeover.

Tammy:
For Tammy s plastic surgery procedure, Dr. Fisher will have to perform:

Face lift
Upper and lower eye lift
Rhinoplasty
Laser resurfacing of the perioral region

Tammy also received some dental work courtesy of Dr. William Dorfman, D.D.S., which included having her teeth whitened and straightened.

After the surgery and dental procedures, it was time for Tammy to get in shape with the help of fitness expert to the stars, Michael George. Then she received fashion tips from Deda Coben, celebrity fashion stylist. To complete the makeover, Tammy received a new hairstyle done by celebrity hair stylist Jonathan Antin; then makeup by celebrity makeup artist Carolyn Bowden.
