Extreme Makeover the television series is the hit program airing Wednesday nights at 10/9 C on ABC . The show receives thousands of applications of hopefuls wanting to be on the show. Each week, two people are chosen to go to Hollywood to undergo a series of procedures. These procedures include plastic surgery, and possibly eye surgery, cosmetic dentistry and/or reconstructive surgery all performed by the nation s top plastic surgeons, eye surgeons, dermatologists and cosmetic dentists. After receiving cosmetic surgery, the individuals undergo a workout and diet regiment by the same fitness trainers that have helped famous celebrities get into shape. Then they receive a fashion makeover from celebrity fashion stylist Sam Saboura. Sam also introduces these lucky individuals to hair and makeup stylists that have done work on today s hottest stars. When they are finished undergoing these procedures, these Extreme Makeover candidates go home and reveal their new look to their friends and family.
