Dr. 90210 - Season Finale

On the season finale of Dr. 90210, Dr. Rey and Hayley spend some time in New Orleans, with the baby expected any day now.

Dr. Rey was traveling to New Orleans to learn a new facelift technique. During their stay, Hayley and Dr. Rey are able to spend some time alone together before the new baby arrives. So the two have a romantic dinner. The next day, Dr. Rey goes to the Massiha Plastic Surgery center to meet with Dr. Hamid Massiha. There, Dr. Massiha teaches Dr. Rey a new facelift technique, one that will allow the fewest possible cuts. Using a video camera, Dr. Rey records Dr. Massiha’s instructions on how to do the facelift and even records Dr. Massiha actually performing the procedure. He sees how small the incision is. Dr. Massiha says that in two weeks patients are completely ready.

While learning about the facelift technique, Hayley, her mom and Sydney are at the zoo. However Hayley is feeling hot and tired at the zoo. She feels the baby is coming any day now. Before leaving Dr. Massiha’s office, Dr. Rey finds out that Dr. Massiha also practices martial arts. Dr. Rey felt like he was looking into a mirror.

Dr. Rey was able to leave Dr. Massiha’s office earlier than expected and was able to meet his family at the zoo. Afterwards, they had dinner at Brennan’s, a well-known restaurant in New Orleans.

Back in Beverly Hills, the Rey’s are expecting the arrival of the new baby. In the middle of the night, Hayley starts feeling contractions and went into labor. 14 hours later, Robert Rey III was born. Dr. Rey cut the umbilical cord, and after thousands of surgeries, this was the first time he was nervous. Dr. Rey was anxious about having a boy, not knowing how to raise a boy, however when he held his son for the first time, he felt like everything was going to be okay.

In this episode we also see the other doctors of Dr. 90210 as they share their thoughts on their life and work.

At Dr. Raj Kanodia’s office, he explains to a patient the benefits of Restylane and that it’s a hyaluronic acid and can rejuvenate the face without cutting. As he injects the Restylane, the patient is amazed by the difference. The patient feels that this procedure will help her self-esteem a lot. Dr. Kanodia sees that every face and need is different.

For Dr. Kotler, the three things in his life are work, study and to have fun.

Dr. Ellenbogen enjoys what he does and can’t see himself stopping. One day he’ll probably retire and spend more time with his family.

Back at the Rey house, Dr. Rey wants to come home early now. Instead of coming home at 11 at night, he shows up at around 6, 6:30 pm. Hayley would like Dr. Rey to take on a partner so he can spend more time with the family. But she knows her husband wants to be in control of the practice.
