Dr. Pontell Facelift

Jonathan Pontell, M.D., F.A.C.S. offers his patients two options when choosing to undergo facelift surgery ("rhytidectomy") - mini-facelift surgery or a full facelift. Philadelphia patients should consult with Dr. Pontell at The Aesthetic Facial Plastic Surgery Center to determine which procedure suits them best.

Mini-facelift surgery is a small procedure with a minimal incision and local anesthesia. This can usually be done in Dr. Pontell's office and it also allows the patient to return to work much sooner than with a full facelift.

For patients who would like a more dramatic effect, Dr. Pontell may recommend a full facelift procedure. This will require general anesthesia and to be performed at a hospital. Patients may return to work after two weeks.
