Late Monday evening, Blink 182 frontman Tom DeLonge turned to Facebook to announce a new campaign he was running to help increase awareness about cancer. Though the band is best known  for their pop-punk anthems and crude humor, Tom took a more serious tone when he announced that he had been diagnosed with skin cancer last year. DeLonge let fans know that everything was ok, but shared his new cancer awareness effort: Boomer Loves Boobies.

In partnership with the Keep-A-Breast foundation, Boomer Loves Boobies will be raising money on Blink 182's upcoming tour in an effort to help their mission to "eradicate breast cancer by exposing young people to methods of prevention, early detection and support."

Fans interested in supporting the cause are able to purchase VIP and AAA (only 250 available) packages from the Boomer Loves Boobies website. Note that tickets are not included in the packages and must be purchased seperately.

VIP Package

  • A meet-n-greet and photo with Tom DeLonge on the Blink 182 summer 2011 tour

  • A Limited Edition "Boomer <3's Boobies" Print originally painted by Tom DeLonge

  • An exclusive "Boomer <3's Boobies" glow in the dark Keep-A-Breast slap bracelet

  • Giclee fine art print on light insight canvas of Tom's original painting Boomer <3's Boobies.

  • A meet-n-greet in Tom's dressing room backstage where you will take a photo in his private quarters and have him sign your canvas.

AAA Package

A percentage of all proceeds from the Boomer Loves Boobie's packages will go to benefit the Keep-A-Breast foundation. Blink 182 fans will recognize the name Boomer, as Tom DeLonge's alter-ego in the 2002 music video for the song "First Date".
