Born out of medical necessity and popularized by vanity, plastic surgery has become almost as common as a cold.  An industry that was booming at the turn of the century has weathered the impact of economic downturn, and though the plastic surgery trends of 2011 appear to be on the rise, a look at the five most common procedures over the last decade show exactly what procedures people still felt were important despite a down economy. What do you think came out on top? Was it breast augmentation or tummy tuck surgery, or were facial procedures like rhinoplasty more desired?
